Commercial Ventilation

Commercial Ventilation is extremely important and has a specific purpose that most don’t realize until it's too late. We install new ventilation fans and service your current ventilation fans. Most do require maintenance to be performed regularly depending on the type of business and the fan's usage.

Commercial exhaust fans force air out of your business for smoke, moisture, and smells. They are commonly found in kitchens for the hoods, pharmacies to vent the off gasses and particulates from medication, and hospitals to keep contagions from contaminating other rooms and people. There is a specific amount of air that is required to be exhausted based on the design, ductwork, fan, and purpose. Over time this specific can drift from the original design and setup, resulting in unpleasant and sometimes dangerous situations.

Commercial Intake fans also known as make-up air fans are designed to replace a specific amount of air that the exhaust fans were meant to remove from the building they were designed for. Typically the intake fans should bring in slightly more air to maintain the building in a positive pressure, however, some applications are meant to operate in a negative pressure. A commercial intake fan not operating correctly could cause higher energy consumption,  high humidity, mold, very hot kitchens, and doors opening and closing on their own.

It is important to evaluate your system of both intake and exhaust fans to make sure they are still running true to their design and not costing you energy, employee comfort, or customers. Call today for a commercial ventilation operation evaluation.
